The 7th edition of the “Raw Materials Week” will take place from 14 to 18 November 2022 as physical and online events, gathering a wide range of stakeholders discussing policies and initiatives in the field of raw materials.The 2022 Raw Materials Week will be centred around the 9th annual High-level Conference of the European Innovation Partnership (EIP) on Raw Materials addressing the latest news regarding raw materials in the EU and will report on
managing the renewable energy transition
securing the supply of raw materials
partnerships with Ukraine
sustainable sourcing
The European Innovation Partnership (EIP) on Raw Materials is a stakeholder platform that brings together representatives from industry, public services, academia and NGOs. Its mission is to provide the European Commission, EU countries and private actors with high-level guidance on innovative approaches to the challenges related to raw materials.
The conference will be composed of keynote and welcome speeches by Vice-President Sefcovic, Commissioner Breton, Ukraine High-Level representatives, Director-General Kerstin Jorna, the European Parliament and the Presidency of the Council (Czech Republic). Four sessions will follow (including panel discussions each session), with the participation of CEOs, Presidents/Vice Presidents, Members of the European Parliament and relevant stakeholders.
